: "Hallucinations of a Canvas" explores the fantastical playground of the mind, a place where reality loosens its grip. Two connected canvas panels create a visual puzzle, revealing both front and back. A sculptural echo with elements from the scenes sits atop the painted surfaces, crafted from crumpled canvas and 3D fruit that were painted over. This clash disrupts the sense of space and time, blurring the lines between real and dreamlike. Intricate details, contrasting textures and different narratives and styles are reminiscent of the daydreams and imaginings that bloom when we take a moment to slow down and let our minds wander free.
